The music we play varies depending on the event and the crowd. We carry a huge music collection covering hits from the 30’s through to the top 40 of today. We bring our entire music library of 65,000+ songs (legally purchased) to every event we do, so you can be confident that we will have the music to suit the most discerning tastes.
Our music collection is constantly updated, receiving all the new music alongside clubs and radio stations. We’re already playing the songs you want to hear. We mix up the music, and read the crowd to make sure we keep everyone dancing. We also encourage and accept requests at the event itself.
Commitment to Quality
For the past 30+ years we continue to associate with other reputable DJs and event service providers, such as the CDJA, CPDJA, The DJ Collective and ILEA – the International Live Events Association. We take pride in our work and, through our partnership with these associations, can guarantee your event is in the hands of experienced professionals.
Our DJ’s are employed EXCLUSIVELY by Split Circuit Sound and Alberta’s Best DJ’s which means they are never subcontracted for your event. All our staff spend extensive amounts of time in training and job shadowing with our Lead DJs/Managers to ensure they are able to exceed your expectations. We understand how important it is that your events proceeds smoothly, so we make sure our DJs are held to a higher standard.
We are committed to ensuring that all our music is legally purchased and prepared on our hard drives and of the highest possible quality. As a professional commitment to our customers, we carry a minimum 2 million dollars in liability insurance, a standard requirement at most venues.

In addition to providing exceptional DJ services, Split Circuit Sound in partnership with AV Alberta is proud to offer our clients a vast array of audiovisual services to suit the needs of any unique event (see events). We have projectors and screens of various sizes for presentations; sound system options available for up to 1500 people; Flat screen “Smart” TV’s from 40” to 90”; Pipe and Drape options in 8 to 15 foot heights; Webcasting & Live events; Virtual Meeting platforms & management; Ambient lighting available as an option to accent certain features in the room, or to add a splash of colour to match your theme. We are excited to offer our 20 x 20 LED dance floor, so us for more details. We also have photo booth rentals available so that you don’t have to waste time and money shopping for multiple vendors.
